This was definitely a busy week and weekend for us. Belive it or not, we actually worked on July 4th. No, we are not workaholics! The whole office agreed it would be better to close on July 5th and get a 4 day weekend out of it. We were thinking of doing fireworks on July 4ht at our house, but we'd rather wait to celebrate when Angeline comes home. So we just enjoyed the night watching fireworks on TV.
On July 5th, we continued to prepare the house, clean, and organize (throw things out!). Mommy was very busy washing all the clothes for baby Angeline.
On July 6th, we spent a day being adventurous. We went whitewater rafting on the American River, in Sacramento, with our office staff and friends(see below for photos taken at the American River).... We definitely won't be doing it for awhile, once we have our daughter. It was really fun and scorching HOT! We had a pretty scary moment when Susan fell off the raft going down one of the rapids..........luckily she swam fast enough to get back to our raft.
On Saturday we were so tired from our trip, we slept for half the day. We'll surely miss sleeping in.......but maybe not.
On Sunday, we were back to our fast track mode again. More preparation of the house and we, actually, cleared up the back yard, to make it more child proof. Susan went to shop for more baby supplies. It seems to never end.
